WB Yeats once wrote that, 'There are no such strangers here; only friends you haven't met yet.' Well, if that is true of anywhere then it is certainly true of the New Three Mariners Inn in Laugharne.
Bar & Restaurant
The spacious airy seaside town bar at The New Three Mariners Inn has a lovely mix of the old and the new. There are wood beams, original features, sailing artifacts, slate and wood floors, works by local artists and a log-burning stove. Adjoining the bar to the right is the ‘snug’ area which contains a bar billiards table, and to the left is the restaurant, part of which can be cordoned off and used for small functions or meetings. There are two T.Vs in the bar, one of which is 85 inches (we have Sky Sports) and there is also regular live music. Please note, the bar can get very lively at the weekend!
You will find a range of wines, ales and lagers and a ‘guest’ real ale, as well as a wide variety of spirits, many of which have a Welsh flavour. The pub has close connections with the Welsh Whisky Distillery in Penderyn, and sells their fine single malts as well as Brecon Gin – all made with spring water from the Brecon Beacons. Also available is their indulgent Welsh Merlyn Cream Liqueur. It is also in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for 2014.
We are aware that these are austere times and so have a keen pricing policy.
Opening times: Open: 3pm-12am Monday-Thursday & Friday -Sunday 12pm-1am
